Marjorie E. "Margie" Palm, 69, of North Fairfield, died Sunday, July 6, 2008, in Stein Hospice Care Facility in Sandusky.
She was born May 11, 1939, in Norwalk, daughter of the late Oliver H. and Ruby A. (Silcox) Perry and was a lifelong area resident.
She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Norwalk.
She was a farm wife and former Deputy Clerk of the Huron County Clerk of Courts Office.
She was a former member of the Huron County Farm Bureau Council, North Fairfield Grange, was a former 4-H advisor and had been the North Fairfield Township Clerk.
She was a member of the Farm Women's Club and the Flower Garden Club.
She enjoyed water color painting and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Gerald A. "Gary" Palm of North Fairfield; her sons and daughters-in-law, Kevin and Amy Palm of Norwalk, Duane and Leann Palm of North Fairfield and Randy Palm of Barnwell, S.C.; her daughter and son-in-law, Melinda "Mindy" and John Borsick of North Fairfield; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Norbert and Barbara Perry and Dennis and Rosalie Perry, all of Monroeville.
She was preceded in death by an infant brother.
Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday in Walker Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St., Norwalk and from 10 a.m. Thursday until services at 11 a.m. in St. Peter Lutheran Church, 243 Benedict Ave., Norwalk. The Rev. Fred Wiechers will officiate. Burial will be in North Fairfield Cemetery.
