Edith "Edie" Pearl (Wilburn) Reilly, 81, of 1927 Wilson St., Sandusky, died Monday, July 7, 2008, after a lengthy illness.
She was born May 14, 1927, in Jennings, Md. She was employed at Philco, G & C Foundry and Ford Motor Co. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Eagles, American Legion Post 83, UAW, and was a volunteer for hospice.
Mrs. Reilly is survived by her husband, George Reilly; a daughter, Lollie Paul of Sandusky; three stepdaughters, Vicky (T.J.) Riley, Ms. Nancy Neiding and Rebecca Reilly, all of Sandusky; two stepsons, Michael and Fred Reilly; a grandson, Shawn Stark of Norwalk; four stepgrandchildren; a great-granddaughter, Tabbetha Stark; three great-grandsons, Logan, Branden and Justin; a sister, Vernie Emerick of Ridgley, W.Va.; and several nieces and nephews, including Donnie and Cheryl Yaider.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold Johnston in 1982; a daughter, Lisa Johnston; her parents, John and Ada (Hoover) Wilburn; a sister, Bea Merk; and six brothers, Jake, Cecil, Walter, Marshall, Elmer and Denzil.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. Wednesday until services at noon in Groff Funeral Home, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky, with the Rev. Gary Ulrich officiating. Burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park.
