Margaret Elaine Kudela, 64, of Sandusky and formerly Norwalk, died Thursday, July 3, 2008, in Stein Hospice Care Center.
She was born Sept. 18, 1943, in Ontario, Canada. She moved to Norwalk as a child and was a graduate of Norwalk High School. She was a certified master gardener and was the former owner of Sand Road Greenhouse. She was active in Heritage activities at the Huron County Fair for many years. She enjoyed gardening, reading, sewing, beading and woodworking. She also raised goats and was a prime source for 4-H members.
She is survived by her daughters, Jody (Keith) Lovejoy and Donna McClelland, both of Florida; sons, Bill (Karen) Kudela of New York and Paul (Melissa) Kudela of Huron; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; mother, Eileen (West) Stiver of Cincinnati; sisters, Joan (Jim) Rothel of Cincinnati and Carol Stiver of New Hampshire; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Stiver.
Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday in Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main St., Norwalk. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Norwalk.
