Vera Eberhard, 81, of Clyde, died Tuesday, July 1, 2008, in Countryside Continuing Care Center, Fremont.
Miss Eberhard was born Jan. 31, 1927, in Bellevue, daughter of the late, Roy M. and Anna M. (Mackling) Eberhard. She was a member of the 1945 graduating class of Thompson High School; St. Paul Lutheran Church, Clyde; and Clyde Senior Center. Vera had worked at the Akron Candy Co., the former Zehners Packing Co., in Bellevue, and retired from Countryside Continuing Care Center.
Survivors include two nephews, Eugene L. (Nancy) Mills of Fremont and William (Susan) Mills of Vermilion; Patricia Mills, (widow of nephew, Kenneth O. Mills) of Fremont; a niece, Sharon (William) Covert of Bellevue; 12 great-nephews and nieces; 19 great-great-nieces and nephews; six stepgreat-great-nieces and nephews; and two great-great-great-nieces and nephews.
Preceding Vera in death is a brother, Albert Eberhard in 1955; a sister, Eva L. Mills in 1990; a brother-in-law, Harry O. Mills in 1982; and her nephew, Kenneth O. Mills in May 2007.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. Thursday until the service at 10 a.m. in St. Paul Lutheran Church, 147 W. Forest St., Clyde, with the Rev. Gerry Gosnell officiating. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery.
