Clarence Scott, 73, residing in Sandusky, died early Thursday evening, June 26, 2008, at home following a brief illness.
He was born July 3, 1934, in Norwalk. He worked as a security agent at local factories in Sandusky for many years. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, storytelling and playing Bingo.
Clarence is survived by his sister, Violet Billett, of Sandusky; brother, Harrison Scott, Sandusky; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Orphey (Knisley) Scott; four brothers, Charles, Clifford, Raymond and Richard Scott; an infant sister; and half sister, Mabel Plottner.
Friends may call from 10:30 a.m. Monday until funeral services at 11 a.m. in Meadow Green Memorial Park Chapel and Mausoleum. Burial will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron. Arrangements overseen by Groff Funeral Home, Sandusky.
