Horace D. Nuckols, 66, Sandusky, died Tuesday, June 24, 2008, at his residence.
Horace was born Sept. 9, 1941, in Enid, Okla. He attended Toledo Public Schools and The University of Toledo for photography. He was employed by the former Chrysler Plastics, where he retired in 2000.
Horace is survived by his wife, Kathleen (Russell) Nuckols; children, Wesley (Tammy) Nuckols, Millington, Tenn., Brian Nuckols and Gwen Nuckols, both of Detroit, Mich., and Anita Nuckols and Troy Nuckols, both of Columbus, Ohio; sisters, Betty (Nathaniel) Smith, Toledo, Ohio, and Mary Nuckols, Columbus; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Horace W. and Caldonia (King) Nuckols; three brothers and a niece.
There will be no visitation. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky; the Rev. Curtis A. Brown will officiate. Entombment will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
