E. Louise Petrick, 82, of Castalia, died Tuesday evening, May 27, 2008, in Stein Hospice Care Center following a lengthy illness.
She was born April 5, 1926, in Portsmouth, Ohio, the daughter of the late Georgia M. (Mullins) and Oscar C. McCown. She was employed by Furry School as a cook; she retired in 1998. She was a member of Community of Christ Church.
Her daughter, Lisa L. (David) Dunham of Castalia; granddaughters, Megan Morando, and Felicia and Carlee Dunham, all of Castalia; great-grandson, Charlie James; and one great-grandchild on the way; sisters, Catherine Laidley of Lucasville, Ohio, and Betty Jean (Harold) Criswell of Sandusky; and brother, Donald R. (Joyce) McCown, of Fort Myers, Fla., survive her.
Her husband, Carl Petrick, who died in 1978; parents; sisters, Rata Bradley and Lucille Wadsworth, and an infant sister; brother, Bill McCown, and an infant brother, preceded her in death.
Friends may call 5-8 p.m. this evening in Groff Funeral Home, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky, where funeral services will be performed at 1 p.m. Friday; Elder Clyde Culp will officiate. Burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park.
