NORTH RIDGEVILLE, Ohio
William E. Dysinger, 81, of North Ridgeville, Ohio, passed away May 25, 2008, in Specialty Hospital of Lorain in Amherst, Ohio, following a lengthy illness.
Mr. Dysinger had been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past six years. Born in Cleveland, he grew up in Michigan. He served in the U.S. Navy and Naval Reserves from 1945-1950.
Mr. Dysinger is a 1955 graduate of Findlay College with degrees in sociology and psychology. He lived in Wooster, Ohio, for one year and was director of Boys Village. From 1956-1969, he lived in Toledo and was chief caseworker for Toledo Catholic Charities. He then moved to Mansfield, Ohio, where from 1970-1993, he was the psychiatric social worker for the Board of Mental Health. He retired in 1993 and moved to Sandusky.
Mr. Dysinger is survived by his son, David of Johnsville, Ohio; daughter, Donna (Tracy) Pickett of Olmsted Falls, Ohio; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine in 2001; and daughter, Diane.
There will be a memorial Mass at noon on Saturday in the Chapel at St. John & Westshore Hospital in Westlake, Ohio. Arrangements by Kacirek Funeral Home, North Olmstead, Ohio.
