Dennis W. Dunbar, 67, of Huron, died Thursday, May 22, 2008, in Firelands Regional Medical Center, Main Campus, Sandusky.
He was born Feb. 27, 1941, in Defiance, Ohio. He was employed as a truck driver for 30 years with Express Freight and Yellow Freight; and along with his wife, Kay, owned and operated Market Street Antiques in Sandusky. He loved sailing and Cedar Point.
He is survived by his wife, Kay (Yetka) Dunbar, to whom he was married 42 years; daughters, Courtney (John Schwartz) Dunbar of Huron, and Dawn Marie (John) Wyatt of Troy, Mich.; son, Christopher Dennis (Dana) Dunbar of Ottawa Hills, Ohio; and grandchildren, Brandon, John, Nathaniel, Seth, Tessa, Elaina, Grace, Graeme and Lily.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul H. and Helen E. (Weber) Dunbar.
A memorial service will be at11 a.m. Thursday in Christ Episcopal Church, 120 Ohio St., Huron. The Rev. Ernest Matijasic willofficiate. Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, Sandusky, is handling arrangements.
