Martha Lee Clinton, 53, of Sandusky, died Friday, May 16, 2008, in Firelands Regional Medical Center, Main Campus.
She was born July 31, 1954, in Sandusky, to the union of James Lee Clinton and Catherine (Clinton) Arrington, the seventh of 15 children. Martha was employed by Pfanner's for 25 years, and Georgia Pacific for many years.
She enjoyed shopping, cooking, family gatherings and hanging out with her special friends, Eddie Love, Linda Yado, and Debbie Yado. Martha attended New Life Church of Deliverance, where she gave her life to the Lord.
A loving mother and grandmother, she leaves to celebrate her life, son, Curtis James Jackson; daughter, Lucinda Catherine Jackson; goddaughter, Lupita Yado; granddaughters, Khadijah De'Janae Jackson, Cach Da'Zion Hamilton and Ca'Rajanai Amiere Jackson; grandson, Steven Lee Hamilton Jr.; brothers, Frederick (Pat) Clinton, Thomas Lee (Andrea) Clinton, David Lee (Niece) Clinton and Rodney Arrington; sisters, Dorothy Lofties, Billie Jean (Toby) McKinney, Christine (Michael) Lately, Josephine Clinton, Cathy Young and Willene (Darrell) Davis; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Frank James Clinton, Jimmie Dale Clinton and one in infancy; and sisters, Mary Belle Wimbley and Annette Clinton.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Thursday in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in New Jerusalem Baptist Church, 1920 Shelby St., Sandusky. The Rev. Beverly Banks will officiate. Burial will be in Oakland cemetery.
