COCOA BEACH, Fla.
Mary E. Yandell, 86, of Cocoa Beach, Fla., departed peacefully May 9, 2008, in William Childs Hospice House, Palm Bay, Fla.
Mary was a former district sales manager and diamond buyer for Zales Corporation before moving from Indianapolis to Leesburg, Fla. She moved to Cocoa Beach in 1996. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Merritt Island, Florida.
She leaves behind companion, Willard D. Stevens, Rockledge, Fla.
She is survived by loving children, daughter, Sandra K. Yandell and son-in-law, Lorenzo Hood, Sandusky; son, Stephen G. Yandell and daughter-in-law, Peggy Yandell, Apopka, Fla.; grandsons, Clay Schilling, Milan, SPF Jesse Yandell, Savannah, Ga., and Billy Mowery, Clermont, Fla.; two great-grandsons, Nicholas B. Schilling, Milan and Troy L. Aaron Jr. (TJ), Sandusky; two great-granddaughters, Alessa and Adriana Mowery, Clermont; and many cherished nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, George F. Yandell.
There will be no viewing. Entombment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. A Life Celebration will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church Chapel, 140 Magnolia Ave., Merritt Island. Loved ones, friends and neighbors are welcome. Page-Theus Funeral Home, Leesburg, is in charge of arrangements.
