Patricia Jean (Nickols) Kessler, 64, of Norwalk, died Wednesday, June 6, 2012, in Fisher-Titus Medical Center, Norwalk.
She was born March 31, 1948, and raised in Berlin Heights and was a resident of Norwalk for the last five years. She graduated from Berlin Heights High School in 1966. She worked for Providence Hospital, Sandusky, for 16 years in the business office. She also worked as a cook at Parkvue Health Care, Sandusky, for five years.
She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, Huron, and volunteered at the school.
She was a member of Bronson Conservation League, Norwalk. She enjoyed reading, cooking, and baking.
She is survived by her husband of 31 years Charles; a daughter Amanda E. (James) Hensley, of Greenwich; three sons, Adam J. “AJ” Kessler of Columbus, Charles J. Kessler of Florida, and Jason S. Nickols of Colorado Springs, Colo.; three grandchildren; a sister Kathee (Gary) Larizza, of Huron; and a brother Jon Nickols ,of Huron.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Myron and Lina Mae (Martin) Nickols.
Friends may call from noon Saturday, June 9, until a funeral mass at 2 p.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church, 430 Main St., Huron. The Rev. Jeffery Sikorski, pastor, will officiate. Cremation will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family.
