Camille Chervenak of Huron, died Sunday, May 4, 2008, in Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, and is at peace with the Lord for eternity.
She was born in Lincoln, Neb., and resided in Louisville, Ky., Overland Park, Kan., Naperville, Ill., and has been a resident of Huron since 1973. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, Huron, and enjoyed golf, tennis, gardening and bird watching. She served as president for the Women's Golf League at Thunderbird Hills in Huron.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Gene; a daughter, Karen (Dennis) Wiser of London, Ohio; two sons, Gene Jr. of Savannah, Ga., and Michael (Sandra) Chervenak of Bellefontaine, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Zachary and Christopher Wiser, Amber and Jason Chervenak, and Kirsten, Courtney and Kaitlyn Chervenak; a sister, Mona Driskill of Garland, Texas; and two brothers, Craig Lewis of Cle Elum, Wash., and Lee Lewis of Kettering, Ohio.
Friends may call 6-8 p.m. today at Foster Funeral Home, 410 Main St., Huron. A funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Peter Catholic Church, 430 Main St., Huron, with the Rev. Jeffery Sikorski officiating. Burial will be in Louisville.
