Arline Josephine Barsch, 76, of Gainesville, Fla., passed away at her home Saturday, April 26, 2008.
She was born on Plum Island, Wis., and graduated from Sandusky High School, class of 1949. She was one of the first flight attendants with United Airlines, flew internationally and retired in 1993 after 35 years.
She moved to Gainesville and enjoyed reading, line dancing and travel.
She is survived by her daughter, Charise Lee Holcombe; son-in-law, J.D. Wolters; granddaughter, Landin Lee Wolters; mother, Sylvia Landin; sister, Joan Zorn; and twin sister, Darline Ramer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert von Barsch; father, Wallace E. Landin; and brother, Duane Landin.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the National Parkinson Foundation.
