Albert W. "Ab" Cramer, 80, formerly of Sandusky, died Saturday, April 26, 2008, in Venice, Fla.
Ab was born March 25, 1928, in Toledo, and lived there until 1950. He graduated from The Ohio State University, received an MBA from University of Detroit, and served in the U.S. Air Force Reserve. He worked for Chrysler Corporation for 28 years and retired as Divisional Manager of the Electronics Division. Ab was a dedicated husband and father, avid golfer and lifelong OSU Buckeye fan. He enjoyed retirement for more than 20 years living in both Florida and Ohio.
Ab was preceded in death by Peggy J. Cramer and Joyce K. Cramer; his parents, Grant and Alice; and brother, David.
Surviving are his wife, Tina Cramer; sons, Douglas G. Cramer and wife, Dianna, and Kirk W. Cramer and wife, Laura; daughter, Lisa M. Dierbeck and husband, Darren; nine grandchildren whom he loved and adored, Chris Cramer, Kathryn (Jason) Brownell, Jodi Alcanter, Brody Alcanter, Brytta Cramer, Kyle Cramer, Danny Rodemann, Abbie Dierbeck and Hallie Dierbeck; and great-granddaughter, Gena Dampier; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday with a memorial service at 1:15 p.m. at Walker Family Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave., Toledo. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park, Sylvania. A reception for family and friends celebrating Ab's life will be at Ciao! Ristorante in Sylvania.
