Richard A. Ohm, 70, of Port Clinton, died Thursday, April 24, 2008, at Cottage Cove, Oak Harbor, after a long battle with cancer.
He was born March 5, 1938, in Fremont, the son of Clarence and Mary (Heisler) Ohm.
He married Carol Long, Dec. 20, 1958, and she survives. Mr. Ohm worked for Ford Motor Company.
He enjoyed reading, working in his yard, and spending time with his family.
Surviving are his wife, Carol; sons, Rick (Sue) of Oak Harbor, Steve (Jennifer) of New Albany, Ohio, and Chris of Port Clinton; grandchildren, Lyndsay, Erin, Justin, Ricky, Sara, Joshua and Rachel; mother, Mary Dewey of Port Clinton; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Ohm; and brothers, Marvin and Terry Ohm.
Visitation will be conducted from 9:30 a.m., Saturday, until funeral services at 11 a.m. in Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Port Clinton; Pastor Kurt Borows will officiate.
