Leon H. Fisher, 83, of Sandusky, died Saturday evening, April 19, 2008, in Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky, following a brief illness.
He was born June 30, 1924, in Woodbury, N.J. Leon was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church of Sandusky, Vesper Lodge 554, F. & A.M. of Spruce Pine, N.C., member and past Worthy Patron of Clermont Chapter 115, O.E.S. of Clermont, Fla.
He is survived by his wife, the former Hazel Graham; one daughter, Shirley (Harry) Robinson of Hillsborough, N.C.; two grandchildren; two brothers, Morris (Jean) Fisher of Austin, Texas, and James (Alice) Fisher of Montrose, Colo.; and nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Evelyn Shaw Fisher; parents, Leon Hubbs and Clara (Thies) Fisher; and brother, Raymond Fisher.
At the request of the deceased, cremation has taken place. Inurnment will be in New Jersey at a later date.
Pfeil Funeral Home, Sandusky Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
