Katherine M. Eisenhauer, 78, of Castalia, died Wednesday night, April 9, 2008, at her residence.
She was born July 28, 1929, in Mulberry Grove, Ill. She was a 1947 graduate of Margaretta High School and a graduate of Bowling Green State University. She taught first, second and fourth grades at Margaretta Schools and was a librarian at Clyde-Green Springs Schools. She was a member of the State Teachers Retirement System.
Katherine is survived by her husband of 60 years, Milton Eisenhauer; three daughters, Diana (Howard) Bolen of Bellevue, Pamela (Frank) Moore of Mifflinburg, Pa., and Rebecca Eisenhauer of Castalia; two sons Charles M. (Deborah) Eisenhauer of Clyde and Bradley E. Eisenhauer of Bay View; seven grandchildren; one great-grandson; two sisters, Lenora Smith of Arizona and Linda Baundendistel of Williston, Ohio; a brother, Bert Baundendistel of Conneaut, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hobert and Lucy (Kachel) Baundendistel.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today in Ransom Funeral Home, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia, where funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday.
Pastor Mark Workman will officiate. Burial will be in Castalia Cemetery.
