William Edward "Bill" Nestor, 79, of Norwalk, died peacefully, Tuesday, April 8, 2007, in Twilight Gardens Home.
He was born May 4, 1928, in New London, Ohio, to Francis E. and Elizabeth Marie "Bessie" (Day) Nestor. He lived most of his years in Clarksfield, Ohio, where he attended Clarksfield Elementary, and graduated from New London High School in 1947. He was a farmer and livestock transporter. He communed with his loving Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with fellow communicants at St. Mary Catholic Church in Wakeman, Ohio, Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in New London, and St. Paul Catholic Church in Norwalk, as well as in his personal life.
He is survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Darlaine Nestor of Norwalk and Paul and Marie Nestor of Zanesville, Ohio; sister-in-law, Margaret Nestor of New London; and 13 nieces and nephews and their families.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Thomas Nestor; maternal grandparents, Albert and Florence (Jones) Day; and paternal grandparents, Thomas and Mary (Langdon) Nestor.
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Friday in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main St., Norwalk; prayer services will be at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Paul Catholic Church, 91 East Main St., Norwalk; the Rev. Frank Kehres will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Wakeman.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Norwalk Senior Center, where Bill found much enjoyment.
