Wilma O. (Walborn) Loffer, 102, of Sandusky, passed away Thursday,April3,2008,inLutheran MemorialHomeafterabriefillness. Until November, 2007, she lived by herself at Harborview in Sandusky.
She was born Feb. 4, 1906, in Huron. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church where she was the matriarch for the past seven years, a member of the Anna Circle and past Sunday school teacher. She greatly enjoyed sewing, crocheting, reading, watching OSU football games, and spending time with her family.
Wilma is survived by a daughter, Peggy Marquart of Huron; a son, William E. (Carolyn) Loffer of Tampa, Fla.; son in-law, Tom LaRose of Sandusky; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold J. Loffer on Jan.1,1965;adaughter,DonnaJean LaRose; and a sister, Ethel Uhl.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. Thursday until funeral services at 10:30 a.m. in St. Paul Lutheran Church, 2211 Mills St., Sandusky, with the Rev. Gary Ulrich officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
