Nora Adams, 91, of Willard, unexpectedly passed away in her home Tuesday, March 25, 2008.
She was born Feb. 15, 1917, in Salyersville, Ky., to Kelly and Bertie Harvey. She lived in Willard most of her life. She was a member of Church of the Nazarene in Willard. She enjoyed going to church, quilt making, embroidering, African violets and feeding the birds.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Norma (Jerry) Patton of Pittsboro, N.C.; two sons and daughters-in-law, David (Michelle) Adams and Rickey (Sarah) Adams, both of Willard; 12 grandchildren, Cathy Lynn, Jeffery Warren, Christopher Allen, Jennifer Jean, Stacy Marie, Mathew David, Eric Leonard, Paul Leonard, Luke Clayton, Sunny Renee, Scott Alan and Andrew Leonard; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Clifford of Coldwater, Mich.; two sisters, Bethel of Cincinnati and Emma Jean of Covington, Ky.; and caregivers, Esther Gardner and Nancy Schneider.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Adams; son, Dale Leonard Adams; and parents, Kelly and Bertie (Picklesimer) Harvey.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday in Secor Funeral Home in Willard. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Church of the Nazarene; the Rev. "Doc" Robert Burrows officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio.
