Jane Ann Provonsil, 76, ofBellevue, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2008, in Stein Hospice in Sandusky.
The daughter of RaymondVincent and Helen (Shea) McNamara, Jane was born Aug. 10, 1931, in East Providence, R.I. She married Norman Provonsil, February 12, 1955, in Cranston, R.I.
Jane was a registered nurse but spent most of her life caring for her children as a homemaker. She volunteered in the Immaculate Conception School cafeteria and also worked blood drives on the bloodmobile. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and St. Vincent DePaul Society. Jane enjoyed baking cookies and brownies for the Elks' weekly bingo and was also an avid Michigan Wolverines and Detroit Tigers fan.
Along with her husband, Jane is survived by three sons, Mike (Brenda) Provonsil of Beavercreek, Ohio, Stephen (Stephanie) Provonsil of Gardner, Mass., and Norm (Prissy) Provonsil of Mesquite, Texas; a daughter, Ann Marie (William) Kerstetter of Bellevue; 10 grandchildren, AmandaKerstetter, David, Michael, Brandon, Ashley, Brian, Sammi-Jo, Nichole, Cameron, and Kyle Provonsil; and a brother-in-law, Dennis McAuliffe of Scituate, R.I.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister,Marguerite McAuliffe.
Friends will be received from2-5 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue, where a rosaryservice will be at 4:30 p.m. A funeral Mass, officiated by the Rev. Keith Stripe, will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Immaculate Conception Church, 231 East Center St., Bellevue.
