Ruth V. Moser, 78, of 1898 Ohio 598, Galion, Ohio, died Sunday, March 9, 2008, in Galion Community Hospital, after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Moser was born April 21, 1929, in Sandusky, daughter of the late Harold and Antoinette (Nemitz) Kamann. She married Donald D. Moser Aug. 30, 1949, and he preceded her June 3, 2004.
Her strong, unshakable faith in Jesus Christ was an inspiration to many.
She is survived by her two daughters and four sons, Joanne Marks of Bucyrus, Marilyn (Scott) Woodworth of Galion, Ruth Ann (Joe) Noblet of Galion, Barbara (Rob) Gabner of Pembroke Pines, Fla., Donald "David" Moser and fianc, Deb Hall of Dutton, Ala., and John J. Moser of Galion; eight grandchildren, Vincent and Jeanette Marks, Jessica and Brett Heinlen, Ryan Gabner, Jenae Noblet and fianc, Adam Smith, Ashley Marks, Josh Noblet, Ryan Noblet and Lindsey Gabner; three great-grandchildren, Joette Marks, Katelyn Heinlen and Keith Heinlen; two brothers and her sister, Eugene (Pat) Kamann of Willard, Margaret "Mugg" (Gilbert) Mainzerof Norwalk and Donald (Linda) Kamann of Monroeville.
She was preceded in death by two infant sons; son-in-law, Tony Marks; her sister, Audrey Kamann; and three brothers, Roland "Rollie", William "Billy" and Russ Kamann.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, 303 Portland Way North, Galion. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Free Methodist Church, Galion, with the Rev. Paul Walter officiating. Burial will follow at a later date.
