Donald E. Morrow, 76, of Norwalk, died late Sunday evening, March 9, 2008, in Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, after a lengthy illness.
He was born March 10, 1931, in Monroeville, and was a life long resident of the Norwalk area. Don was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War. He owned and operated the former Morrow's IGA in Monroeville and Green Spring, retiring in 1988. He was a member of the American Legion Post 547, Monroeville, VFW of Norwalk and Norwalk Elks. Don was an avid gardener and card player.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, the former Pamela S. Parsons; one son, Tod (Marcia) Morrow of Atlanta; one daughter, Tia (Scott) Paul of Fort Myers, Fla.; five grandchildren, Kyle, Nick, Elyse, Mary and Jack; one brother, James Morrow of Monroeville; and nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Clara (Houk) Morrow; one sister, Grace Morrow and his first wife, Elizabeth Williams Morrow.
Family services will be private. Pfeil Funeral Home, Monroeville Chapel, 109 Monroe St., Monroeville, is in charge of arrangements.
