Sally Ann Haynes, 71, Sandusky, died peacefully Thursday morning at her home, with her family at her side, following a battle with cancer.
She was born in Flint, Mich., on Feb. 3, 1937. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Sandusky Eagles Club-Aerie 444.
Her three children, Kenneth Neeley, Michigan, Guiametta (Gary) Giedeman, Sandusky, and Monty (LeAnn) Neeley, Castalia; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren survive her.
Her husband, James C. Haynes, Feb. 10, 1997; two great-grandchildren; and her parents, Clyde and Hazel Young, preceded her in death.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Monday in Groff Funeral Home, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home; her nephew, Deacon Denis Haynes, will officiate. Burial will follow in Olena Cemetery.
