Gayle V. Ott, 65, Sandusky, died Sunday at her residence.
She was born Jan. 31, 1943, in Cleveland. She was a graduate of John Marshall High School. She, along with her husband David, moved to the Huron/Sandusky area in 1982.
She was employed with Newark City Schools, Perkins Schools, and the American Red Cross.
She volunteered her time at the Ohio Veterans Home and Fireland’s Community Hospital. She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church where she was a Eucharistic Minister.
She is survived by her two daughters, Tracey (Tim) Mullin of Cleveland, and Lorri Ott of Medina, Ohio; two grandchildren, Samuel Patrick Mullin and Alexander Michael Sonnie; mother, Rose Allen of Westlake, Ohio; and a sister, Beverly Cotton, of Fairview Park, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David, whom shemarried June 16, 1962, and who died in 2002; and father, Earl.
Private family services will be conducted. Groff Funeral Homes, Sandusky, is in charge ofarrangements.
