Dorothy Edna (Williams)Gilbert, 78, of Bellevue, died Thursday, Feb. 21, 2008, inEdgewood Manor Nursing Center, Port Clinton.
She was born July 12, 1929, in Bellevue. She was the daughter of Curtis and Elsa M. (Weasner)Williams.
She lived most of her life in the Bellevue area, moved to Findlay for a few years, then returned to Edgewood Manor in Port Clinton. She was employed at Barr Rubber for 20 years. She had been disabled for several years. Dorothy was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Findlay. She married Eugene R. Perkins Sr., Jan. 13, 1950, and they were divorced. She married Harold Gilbert, Nov. 2, 1969; he died December 6, 1990.
Survivors include her sons, Eugene "Gene" R. Perkins, of Clyde, Randy Perkins, Bellevue, and Kenneth "Kip" M. Perkins of Oak Harbor; her daughter, Elaine (Larry R.) Setzler of Huron; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; a grandson, Shawn Setzler; her parents; and four brothers, Roy, Raymond,Clarence and Donny Williams.
Calling hours will be 3-5 and6-8 p.m. Sunday, in Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home; the Rev. Christian Dittmar will officiate. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery.
