Earl Eugene Koch, 85, ofBellevue, died Wednesday,Feb. 20, 2008, in Bellevue Care Center, Bellevue.
He was born Jan. 9, 1923, in Bellevue. He was the son of William F. and Nellie Pauline (Poths) Koch. He was a 1940 graduate of Bellevue High School, member of Lyme Grange, Elks Lodge 1013 in Bellevue, and member of St. John's Lutheran Church and choir.
He loved music and sang in a barbershop quartet. Mr. Koch was a Teller for Union Bank & Savings, Bellevue. He moved to FortLauderdale, Fla. and worked at the Hilton Hotel. He was also involved with real estate. He returned toBellevue in 1987.
Survivors include two brothers, Wilbert Koch, Fort Myers, Fla., and Murlin Koch, Bellevue; and sister, Ethel L. Slane, Willard.
His parents preceded him in death.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until memorial service at 11 a.m., Saturday, in St. John's Lutheran Church, 209 Southwest St., Bellevue; the Rev. Stephen Seibel, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be at a later date at Bellevue City Cemetery. Foos and Foos Funeral Service, Bellevue, is in charge of arrangements.
