Dolores E. (Laurenz) Fraser, 79, of Sandusky, and formerly of Medina, Ohio, and Denver, died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2008, in Sandusky.
She was born Feb. 14, 1929, in Canton, Ohio, to George and Margaret (Krebs) Laurenz. She worked for Adult and Senior Services, especially with Alzheimer's residents in Denver, and most recently was a tax preparer for H&R Block. She was a member of the Frauen Choir & Sweet Adelines singing group. She enjoyed playing bridge, and was an avid cat lover. Dolores was a generous and caring mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her daughters, Joanne Wolf and Sue Ellen Johnson; grandsons, Michael, Ronnie, Brian, Jared and Brendan; great-grandson, Ethan; her brother, George (Darleen) Laurenz; and Sweetie Pie and Fozzy Bear, her faithful feline companions.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Neal Croft, Joseph Dech and William Fraser; sons, David Laurenz and Douglas Croft; and her parents.
Visitation will be 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Friday in Waite & Son Funeral Home, Medina Chapel, 765 N. Court St., Medina, with services at 12:30 p.m. Burial will be private in Spring Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
