Marilyn F. Hintz, 81, Sandusky, died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2008, in Parkvue Health Care Center.
She was born in Norwalk, Dec. 28, 1926. She attended St. Mary's Catholic Church and St. Paul Lutheran Church, loved to travel (traveling to all 50 states), enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, and doing crafts.
Marilyn is survived by her daughters, Jeanne E. (Robert) Lawrence, Tevon A. (Paul) Orshoski, Debra K. (Joseph) Braun and Linda C. (Brian) Hamm, all of Sandusky, and Karen S. (Richard) Pooch, Castalia; grandchildren, Jennifer Sumser, Jonathon Lawrence, Shauna Weyer, Ashley Orshoski, Paula Orshoski, Ryan Orshoski, Keith Riesterer, Monica Braun, Audrey Braun, Amanda Lane, Anthony Pooch, Adam Pooch, Travis Hamm and Trevor Hamm; nine great-grandchildren; her sister, Margaret Jennings, Florida; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Frederick G. Brunner in 1967; second husband, James Hintz in 1994; and brothers, Charles, Everett, and William.
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Friday in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Mary's Catholic Church, 429 Central Ave., Sandusky. The Rev. Philip Feltman will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
