Janis A. Davidson, (Glass), 73 of Sandusky, died Friday, February 15, 2008 in Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky, after a brief illness.
She was born September 28, 1934, in Sandusky and was a resident since 1972 coming from Dover, De. She worked for Huron City Schools as a cook and a custodian for 20 years and retired in 1995. She was a member of American Legion, Sandusky; Orioles Club, Sandusky; and enjoyed fishing and reading.
She is survived by a daughter, Linda (John) Turinsky of Sandusky; two sons, Steven (Amy) Davidson of Sandusky and Ray Davidson of Oregon, Ohio; five grandchildren; a great-grandchild; two sisters, Marlene Rudolph and Sandra Jones, both of Sandusky; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Davidson in 2001; parents, Walter and Mildred (Noftz) Glass; and a sister, Vonnie Yost.
Friends may from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at Pfeil Funeral Home, Sandusky Chapel, 617 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, where services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Philip Gardner, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, Sandusky, will officiate. Burial will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
