James "Jim" Branco III - June 2, 1948-February 13, 2008

James "Jim" Branco III, 59, of Sandusky, passed away Feb. 13, 2008, at his residence.

He was born June 2, 1948, inFremont, the son of James Jr. and Idah J. (Lawley) Branco.

A 1966 graduate of Bellevue High School, Jim received a bachelor's degree in business from Bethel College.

He was the former manager of Johnson Credit Union in Bellevue, and Ford Credit Union in Sandusky. He was owner of K & J Distribution in Fremont. He was most recently employed as a laborer for Local 480, Sandusky.

Jim was a member of the Eagles Aerie 490, was an avid reader, and spent a lot of time on the Internet.

Jim is survived by two sons, James Branco IV of Columbus, and Joshua Branco of Sandusky; stepson, Robert McClellan of Columbus, longtimecompanion, Darla McClellan ofSandusky; father, James Branco Jr., Bellevue; two brothers, Dave (Jean Netz) of Ann Arbor, Mich., and Tim of Bellevue; four sisters, Linda (Steve) Stanley of Buffalo, N.Y., Pam (William) Pickard of Fremont, Cynthia Branco of Bellevue, and Janece (Jack) Yatsko of Hawaii; 12 nieces and nephews; and 17 great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Idah Branco.

Friends will be received from2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, in Foos and Foos Funeral Service,151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday; William Pickard willofficiate. Burial will follow atBellevue Catholic Cemetery.
