Arthur Mitchael "Mitch" Wallace, 45, of Norwalk, and formerly of Huron, died unexpectedly Thursday, Feb. 7, 2008, at hisresidence in Norwalk.
He was born Nov. 30, 1962, in Lorain, and was a lifelong resident of Huron, until moving to Norwalk three months ago. He graduated from Huron High School in 1981. He worked in construction for 16 years, currently employed by Strecker Construction Co., Monroeville. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca (Bentley) Wallace; daughters, Deanna Wallace of Milan, Elysia Wallace of Norwalk, Amanda (Eric) Smith of Norwalk, and Tabitha (Nick) Pyles of Sandusky; son, U.S. Marine Cpl. Thomas (Janie) Myers, California; stepchildren, Cameron Dean of Sandusky, and Andrea Dean of Huron; grandchildren, Austin, Xavier, and Nevaeh Pyles, Alexis and Dakoda Smith, and Jameson Myers; mother, Mary Ann Wallace, of Huron; sisters, Carleen (Bernie) Fluty of Berlin Heights, DeNese Mayle of Huron, and Schandra and Nickola Wallace, both of Whitehouse, Ohio; niece, Alischia Fluty; and nephews, Nikolaos, Jedadiah, Dominic, Jarod, and Travus Mayle, Josheua and Mathew Fluty, and Noah, Nathaniel, and Gabriel Wallace.
He is preceded in death by his father, Arthur Wallace; and grandmother, Dorothy Burda.
Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. Monday in Foster Funeral Home, 410 Main St., Huron. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in St. Peter Catholic Church, 430 Main St., Huron. Burial will be in Scott Cemetery, Huron.
