Beverly Nims, Sandusky, left this life unexpectedly on Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2008, to begin her new lifein Heaven with Jesus.
She enjoyed her family and most of all her two grandsons, Tanner Matthew Wilson and Titus Matthew Wilson. She also enjoyed her dog, Tony, and watching college football.
She was a longtime member of the Harvest Baptist Temple, Clyde, where she enjoyed serving the Lord in several areas.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Kenneth F. Nims; her daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Joseph Wilson; her brother and sister-in-law, Randolph and Ronette Skaggs, all of Sandusky; step children, David Nims, Sandusky, Danny (Pamela) Nims, Sandusky, William (Karen) Nims, Clyde, and Sarah Nims, Napoleon; several step grandchildren and four nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents Gladys (Cordle) and Alvin Skaggs, and one stepson, Richard Nims.
Friends may call on Friday, from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. in the Groff Funeral Home, 1607 E. Perkins Avenue, Sandusky. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday inHarvest Baptist Temple, 1022 S. Main Street, Clyde, Ohio, where the body will lie in state one hour prior to the funeral. Pastor James Lewis will officiate. Private burial will take place Monday in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
