PALM SPRINGS, Calif.
Mildred “Millie” Moosbrugger, 75, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and dear friend to so many, passed away unexpectedly on January 31, 2008, at Desert Regional Medical Center, Palm Springs, Calif.
Born in Cincinnati, she attended the University of Cincinnati, and later graduated from Bowling Green State University with a master’s degree in education. Millie taught fifth grade at Meadowlawn School for several years. She was a watercolorist for many years. She loved her watercolor classes in California and also her silk painting classes in Norwalk. Her love of life, vivaciousness, and artistic talent will be missed by all who loved her. She was a member of the Coachella Valley Watercolor Society, Sandusky Yacht Club, Elks Club, Amvets, VFW, American Legion, and past member of Plum Brook Country Club and Palm Valley Country Club.
Millie is survived by her husband of 57 years, Raymond C. Moosbrugger; a son, Dennis (Melanie Rogers) Moosbrugger of Grand Rapids, Mich.; a daughter, Dawn (Larry) Schlessman of Sandusky; two grandchildren, Erika and Ehren Moosbrugger, of Las Vegas, and Ann Arbor, Mich.; along with their mother, Penny Yohn.
Millie was proceeded in death by her parents Albert and Aurelia Samad of Cincinnati; and her brother, Dr. Stanley Samad of Akron, Ohio.
