Beverly Nims, 58, Sandusky, left this life unexpectedly on Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2008, to begin her new life in Heaven with Jesus.
She enjoyed her family, and most of all her two grandsons, Tanner Matthew Wilson and Titus Matthew Wilson. She also enjoyed her dog, Tony, and watching college football. She was a longtime member of the Harvest Baptist Temple, Clyde, where she enjoyed serving the Lord in several areas.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Kenneth F. Nims; her daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Joseph Wilson, Sandusky; her brother and sister-in-law, Randolph and Ronette Skaggs, Sandusky; grandsons; stepchildren, David Nims of Sandusky, Danny (Pamela) Nims of Sandusky, William (Karen) Nims of Clyde, and Sarah Nims of Napoleon; several stepgrandchildren; and four nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gladys (Cordle) and Alvin Skaggs; and stepson, Richard Nims.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Friday in Groff Funeral Home, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday in Harvest Baptist Temple, 1022 S. Main St., Clyde, with visitation one hour prior to the funeral. The Rev. James Lewis will officiate.
Private burial will take place on Monday in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
