Frances Schindley, 89, ofBellevue, passed away Monday, Jan. 28, 2008, in Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky.
She was born June 16, 1918, in Milan, the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Schmitz) Kramer. Frances was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Altar Rosary Society, St. Jude's Study Club, Lyme Grange, and Lyme Extension Club. She enjoyed quilting, cooking, sewing and had a great love of children
Survivors include her sons, Lawrence Schindley of Bellevue, William Schindley of Edison, Gerald Schindley of Monroeville, Michael Schindley of Monroeville and Andrew Schindley Jr. of Bellevue; daughters, Mary Ott of Norwalk, Joanne Cherry of Norwalk, Susan Horn of Bellevue, Rose Trapp of Dublin, Catherine Palmer of Bellevue, Patricia Tinnel of Bellevue, Linda Urig of Sandusky and Judith Moyer of Bellevue; 33 grandchildren; 44 great- grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and her sister, Rosella Schnellinger of Norwalk.
In addition to her parents, her husband, Andrew Schindley Sr., whom she married June 1, 1940, at St. Alphonsis, Peru, Ohio; her son Eugene; great-grandson, Justin Ziegler; and sister, Frieda Ott, preceded her in death.
Friends will be received from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue, where the Rosary will be recited at 3:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Church, 231 E. Center St., Bellevue. Burial will follow at Bellevue Catholic Cemetery.
