Betty L . Wills, 78, most recently residing at Erie County Care Facility, Huron, passed away Saturday evening, Jan. 19, 2008, in Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, after an extended illness.
She was born Oct. 29, 1929, in Bozoo, W.Va., and married Paul D. Wills in 1946. She lived in Rich Creek, Va., until she and her husband moved to Medina and lived there until her husband passed away in 2001.
She worked for the Celanese Corp., in Narrows, Va., Industrial Wire Corp. in Cleveland, Fan Club Corp. in Medina, and was a supervisor for A.I. Root Co. in Medina.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Wills; her parents, Grover and Ida Thomas; brothers, Ernest, Fred and Nathan; and sister, Bernice Martin.
She is survived by her children, Patty (Kenneth) Powell of Sandusky, Randy Wills of Chippewa Lake, Ohio, Gary (Susi) Wills of Rich Creek, Va., and Debbie Ostaff of Chippewa Lake, Ohio; grandchildren, Shane Powell of Massillon, Ohio, Scott Powell and Truli (Dan) Borgner, both of Delaware, Ohio, Josh (Jenn) Petroc of Rittman, Ohio, Amber (Michael) Ward of Clio, Mich., and Jennifer Wills of Pembroke, Va; and great-grandchildren, Libby and Tori Powell, Zach Borgner, and Raileigh Clark; her sister, Sybil Thomas of Princeton, W.Va.; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina. Services will be Friday in West Virginia, with burial in Peterstown, Va.
