Patricia N. Brady, 81, ofNorwalk, died Thursday after-noon in Norwalk Memorial Home.
She was born March 17, 1926, in Norwalk, daughter of the late Franklin E. and Elizabeth (Harr) Nabring; she was a lifelong area resident. She was a 1944 graduate of Norwalk High School, and a member of Norwalk First Presbyterian Church.
She attended Toledo University School of Nursing and was a former employee of the Five and Dime Store, Citizens National Bank, and retired from the Norwalk AAA. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, Firelands Post 2743 Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, Ken Bur Bell Post 41 American Legion Auxiliary, and Queen Esther Chapter 15 Order of Eastern Stars, Norwalk. She was a former Girl Scout leader and enjoyed cross stitch, needle point, and watercolor painting.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Catherine J. and Robert A. Marksbury of Norwalk, and Susan J. Beck and her husband, James A. Benson, of Princeton, N.J. She is also survived by her stepson and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Robyn Brady of Norwalk; stepdaughter-in-law, Linda Brady of Norwalk; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren; and her sister and brother-in-law, Virginia and Dean Lawrence of Norwalk.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John A. Brady; stepsons, John (Jack) Brady and Thomas Brady; and one grandson.
Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday in Walker Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St., Norwalk, where the V.F.W. Auxiliary will conduct services at 3 p.m. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Monday in First Presbyterian Church,21 Firelands Blvd. Norwalk. The Rev. Adrian Doll will officiate. Inurnment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
