America M. "Bella" Magi, 86, of Sandusky, died unexpectedly early Monday morning, Jan. 7, 2008, in Firelands Regional Medical Center, Main Campus, Sandusky.

She was born Sept. 17, 1921, in Sandusky, graduated from Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic School, and attended Sandusky High School. She worked at A.H. Voegel Cake Decorating for many years and later was a homemaker. She was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church.

She is survived by her sisters, Anita A. Magi of Sandusky, and Victoria J. Kirkpatrick of Bradenton, Fla.; brother, Aldo P. Magi of Sandusky; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Antonio and Adele (Adavini) Magi; three sisters, Rose (Frank) Marketti, Ann (William) Lorenz, and Lucille (Mike) Palazzo; and three brothers, Henry Magi, Louis (Josephine) Magi, and Salvador "Toby" (Frances) Magi.

At her request, there will be no visitation. Prayers will be recited at 9:40 a.m., Thursday morning, at David F. Koch Funeral Home, 520 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church; the Rev. James E. Peiffer will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Sandusky.
