Dorothy B. Loudenslager, 85, of Clyde, died Monday, Jan. 7, 2008, in Bellevue.
Mrs. Loudenslager was born Feb. 22, 1922, in Bellevue, to Edward and Florence (Moylet) Brandall, now deceased. She attended Bellevue High School and was a member of Mount Carmel Methodist Church and the We R Mothers Club. Most of her life she was a homemaker, but Dorothy had worked at Raschke Farm Market in Clyde and the former Buckeye Mart.
Survivors include her son, Jack Loudenslager and daughter, Carol (Jean) Maye, both of Clyde; a grandson, Randy (Bethany) Loudenslager; granddaughter, Jaci (James) Roesch; six great-grandchildren; and her sister, Gertrude Hamisfar of Jackson, Mich.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Dale E. Loudenslager, whom she married May 24, 1941, and who died Sept. 5, 1983; her daughter-in-law, Judy Loudenslager; her granddaughter, Angie Adkison; as well a her sister, Gail Gilbert.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 S. Main St., Clyde. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Mount Carmel Methodist Church with the Rev. Abby Auman officiating. Burial will be in Parkhurst Cemetery.
