Louise J. (Vigeletta) Corso, 94, of Sandusky passed away on Saturday morning, May 29, 2010, in Firelands Regional Medical Center following a lengthy illness.
She was born June 11, 1915, in Huron, daughter of the late Mary (Mussell) and Charles Vigeletta. She was a homemaker. Louise was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and attended Columbus Avenue United Methodist Church, and was involved as a volunteer at church.
Mrs. Corso is survived by her son, Larry P. Corso of Sandusky; two grandchildren, Debbie Huffman and Brad Corso, both of Columbus; five great-grandchildren, Emily, Bryan and Shawn Huffman, and Sophie and Elliott Corso; sister, Angeline Drahos of Georgia; several nieces and nephews; and longtime friends, Carol and Sonny Welchons of Sandusky.
She was preceded in death by her husband, August J. Corso; her parents; sister, Ann Evans; and brother, Harry Vigeletta.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. Tuesday until the funeral services at 11 a.m. in Groff Funeral Home, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky; the Rev. Marty Nassr will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
