Elizabeth A. Maczuga, 93, Sandusky, died Sunday afternoon in Admiral's Pointe, Huron.
She was born August 1, 1914, in Germany, the daughter of Victor and Augusta (Lubowsy) Knaeffel. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, and was a social member of the Italian American Club. She enjoyed playing bingo, baking cookies and knitting blankets for those she loved.
She is survived by four sons, Hubert and George (Kathy), both of Sandusky, Jack of Wakeman, and Horst (Leigh) of New Zealand; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Alfred, who died in February of 1977; parents; sister, Ann; brothers, Bernard and Jack; and dear friend and companion Tony Anast.
Services will be private. A memorial Mass will be announced later. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Groff Funeral Home, Sandusky, is handling the arrangements.
