Blanche R. Gingo, 91, of Sandusky, died unexpectedly early Sunday morning, Dec. 16, 2007, at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Main Campus.
She was born in Sandusky, Oct. 28, 1916, and was a 1934 graduate of Sandusky High School. She, along with her husband, Paul, ran a farm in Oxford Township for nearly 45 years. She enjoyed working on crossword puzzles, and was a member of Faith Memorial Church.
She is survived by two sons, James (Cynthia) Gingo of Huron, Larry (Pat) Gingo of Monroeville; daughter, Barbara David of Dallas; four grandchildren, Annette, Pam, Dan, and Larry; four great-grandchildren, Scott, Jairus, Cameron and Lauren; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Gingo; parents, Lawrence and Ruth (Tompkins) Hill; grandson, Scott David; brother, Ernest Hill; and two sisters, Pauline Hill and Marian Lippus.
Visitation will be from 3 - 7 p.m. Thursday, at David F. Koch Funeral Home, 520 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. There will be visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 11 a.m. on Friday, at Faith Memorial Church; the Rev. Kenneth L. Hiser will officiate. Burial will be in Perkins Cemetery, Sandusky.
