Edna Martin, 91, of Monroeville, died Friday evening, Dec. 7, 2007, in Twilight Gardens Nursing Home, Norwalk, Ohio, following a brief illness. She was born Aug. 13, 1916, in Monroeville, where she was a life-long resident.
Edna was a homemaker and loved to cook, sew, and work with flowers. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Monroeville, and the Altar and Rosary Society.
She is survived by one brother, Leonard Martin of Norwalk; one sister, Loretta Didion of Bellevue; seven nieces and four nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William & Bena (Dendinger) Martin; two sisters, Mary Cramer and Rose Martin; seven brothers, William, John, Leo, Charles, Roman, Louis and Raymond Martin.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Pfeil Funeral Home, Monroeville Chapel, 109 Monroe St., where Christian wake services will be at 5:45 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, 66 Chapel Street, Monroeville.
The Rev. Kenneth J. Lill will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Monroeville.
