Jacqueline J. "Jackie" Olsen, 74, of Sandusky, died Wednesday morning in Providence Care Center.
She was born Jan. 4, 1933, in Sandusky. Jackie attended Sandusky High School, graduating in 1951, and was a member of the A Cappella Choir. She worked for Ohio BellTelephone Co. as an operator, Montgomery Ward,Herman's Furniture Co., Foster Grant and Roberts Specialty Shoppe.
She married her belovedhusband, Hans, Sept. 8, 1979. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Eagles Club Aerie 444, and enjoyed golf and bowling.
She is survived by herhusband, Hans; son, MichaelMarshall of New Mexico; sister,Judith Semprich of Sandusky; nephew, Curtis Semprich of Sandusky; niece, Kelly Semprich of San Francisco; and several other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman J. and Gladys C. (Powell) Nemitz.
Friends may call from 2-6 p.m., Sunday, in Groff Funeral Home, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky, where funeral services will be at11 a.m., Monday.
The Rev. John Mawhirter willofficiate. Burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
