Lena L. Lane, 105, of Vickery, died Sunday morning, Dec. 2, 2007, in Providence Care Center, Sandusky.
She was born Oct. 12, 1902, in Glass City, Ind. She and her husband Ralph Lane Sr. owned and operated the former Whites Landing Night Club.
Lena is survived by two granddaughters, Linda (John) Schwochow Sr. and Rae (Gregory) Cox of Bellevue; three grandsons, Louis (Gail) Lane and Michael (Deborah) Lane, both of Castalia and Ralph Lane lll of Las Vegas; 11 great-grandchildren; 19 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Lane Sr.; one son, Ralph Lane Jr.; her parents, Uriah and Della Bock; two sisters, Helen Frye and Norma Richardson; and one granddaughter, Heather Lane.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. Wednesday until services at 11 a.m. in Ransom Funeral Home, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia. The Rev. Kenneth Hiser will officiate. Burial will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park.
