Marie Linhart, 59 of Venice, Fla. and Huron, passed away Sunday, Nov. 25, 2007.
Marie was born Jan. 12, 1948, in Lakewood, Ohio. Marie was a loving mother, wife, and homemaker. She prided herself on being the ultimate hostess to her friends and family making sure everyone was happy.
She loved playing bridge, card games, traveling, boating, fishing and golf.
Marie is survived by herhusband of 39 years, John of Venice and Huron; daughter, Beth Linhart of Brooklyn, N.Y.; son, Tom (Julie) Linhart of Tampa, Fla.; mother, Thelma Smrcina; sisters, Sharon (Jim) Reinhart of Medina, Ohio, and Joy (Mitch) Thomas ofCleveland; brothers, Al (Sue) Smrcina of Aurora, Ohio, and Mark (Dolly) Smrcina of North Ridgeville, Ohio; and sister-in-law, Diane (Tom) Dlugos of Vermilion.
She was preceded in death by her father, Elmer Smrcina.
Friends may call from 4-6 p.m. Sunday at Foster Funeral Home, 410 Main St., Huron, whereservices will be at 11 a.m. Monday. The Rev. David Aber, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, Huron, will officiate. Burial will be in Scott Cemetery, Huron.
