Larry A. Motl, 70, of Norwalk and formerly of Willard, died at 4:01 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26, 2007, in Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky.
He was born June 28, 1937, in Browerville, Minn., to Martin and Marie Motl, now deceased. Mr. Motl was married to Lissie (Smith) Motl on May 25, 1962, and she preceded him in death May 4, 2000. He was retired from Chrysler and was a member of Cline Street Freewill Baptist Church, Norwalk. Mr. Motl was a member of Norwalk Moose and enjoyed playing dart ball, bowling, fishing, and especially spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mr. Motl is survived by his two sons, Stanley R. Moon of Sandusky and Randy D. Moon of Parker, Fla.; four grandchildren, Donna Stamm, Dawn Moon, Dustin Moon and Debra Moon, all of Sandusky; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Arvilla (Norman) Beach of Eagle Bend, Minn., and Virginia Kilinoski of Sauk Centre, Minn.
He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; six brothers; and two sisters.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Lindsey-Kocher Funeral Service, 323 Myrtle Ave., Willard. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the United Baptist Church with the Rev. Danny Hamilton officiating. Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery, New Haven, Ohio.
