Floetta "Flo" L. Portner, 76, of Norwalk, died Wednesday evening, Nov. 21, 2007, at Fisher-Titus Medical Center in Norwalk.
She was born July 14, 1931, in Lyme, Ohio, and was a graduate of Monroeville High School. She worked at the family's Farm Restaurant in Monroeville andwas a licensed practical nurse for many years in the Norwalk area. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Norwalk. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, watching baseball, and was an avid fan of The Ohio State University and Cleveland sports.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Roland "Rollie" Portner of Norwalk; sons, Jeff Portner and David Portner, both of Norwalk; and five grandchildren; her triplet sister and brother, Faybelle Stewart and Forrest "Bud" Stewart; sisters, Vivian Downing and Audrey Allene Ludington; and brother, Louis (Joan) Stewart.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edith (Lamblin) Stewart and Benjamin Stewart; brothers, Dennis Stewart and Dr. Augusta Eugene Stewart; sisters, Virginia Pierce, Donna Stewart, Lois Stewart and Thelma Stewart, in infancy.
Friends may call 2-4 and6-8 p.m. Monday in the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main St., Norwalk. A funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home with The Rev.
